MR. VIRENDRA SINGH
Mr. Virendra Singh, Promoter of Sheoji Stone International and Founder President of Stone Industries & Mining Development Society (SIMDS) is man behind the research, development and promotion of JODHPUR SANDSTONE and TRAVERTINE from Western Rajasthan, India.
He passionately loves natural stones and devotedly worked to promote and popularize the Jodhpur sandstone at global map. He is serving & working with the Indian stone sector since 1978 with complete dedication. His achievements includes establishment of first processing unit of Jodhpur sandstone in 1981-82. Not only that but he also developed diamond tools for processing of Jodhpur sandstone in consultation with the Indian diamond tool manufacturers.

He is the first person in India to take groups of Indian entrepreneurs to visit and participate in International Trade Fairs in various countries by giving them a unique platform and great exposure about stone industries at global level. He motivated entrepreneurs and arranged group tours of entrepreneurs of Indian stone industries to visit International Trade Fairs such as Carrara Marmotec, Marmomacc Verona (Italy) and Stone + Tec, Nurnberg, Germany. He arranged first group tour in 1987 for Carrara di Massa then simultaneously in 1989, 1990, 1992 and 1995 to international trade fairs at Italy and Germany, accompanying entrepreneurs of Indian stone sector.

He has inspired and motivated Indian entrepreneurs to join his group tours to explore and get aware of latest technologies and among them are some legendry names who benefited by this platform :-

He is also founder president of Stone Industries & Mining Development Society (SIMDS). After establishing SIMDS in 2001, he directed his attention and efforts in developing stone processing cluster in Jodhpur and he proposed Rajasthan Government for establishing Stone Park project in Jodhpur for processing of local sandstones & various stones from Western India.

He worked very hard to establish and develop the project. He motivated and help the entrepreneurs to establish their processing units of Jodhpur sandstones and make it available in the world market. With his sincere efforts and continuous emphasis to develop Stone Park in Mandore Jodhpur, and today it came to existence.

Stone Park is fully developed with modern technology and giving it best output. It’s well equipped in term of latest technology, know how & production capacity as well international clientage. Today his dream project has taken shape and is in full swing.
